Climate change poses a major threat to First Nations lands, waters and resources in Australia as well as the continuation of our traditional life languages and cultures.
As coastal and island communities confront rising
sea levels, and inland areas become hotter and drier, First Nations peoples face the loss and degradation of the lands, waters and natural
resources they have relied upon for generations.
It is time First Nations People's are recognised as major stakeholders in this fight and we are given our seat at the table.
These pieces have been created to honour and respect the storytelling and cultural knowledge of First Nations People's and should be worn with respect. I want for the wearer to start a journey of thier own personal knowledge seeking of culture and history on the lands they live and work.
Pieces made from a translucent green acrylic. They are engraved to represent community uniting for change. All findings are stainless steel.
